Elder Mathew Twumasi

Presiding Elder

Biography

Elder Matthew Twumasi serves as the head leader of ToP Church, Finland. He is a New Testament Christian and a local shepherd leading the congregation with compassion, wisdom, and a steadfast commitment to faith. With over many years of ministry experience, he has been a source of guidance and inspiration for the congregation, fostering a community rooted in love, service, and spiritual growth.

He is a Godly man with one wife with the help of the Holy Spirit has brought up his children in the Lord. He is a seasoned servant of God, a passionate preacher of the Word and a fervent prayer warrior. Under his leader he has been able to grow the local church, membership from 8 to over 100 including children by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Mr. Frank Boateng

Church Deacon

Biography

Mr. Frank Boateng has been a member of ToP Church since 2017. His wife joined him in 2024, and together they worship with their twin boys. He has served as a deacon since 2021 and is passionate about teaching the gospel.

Frank coordinates resources for weekly Bible Studies and sees the church as family—welcoming, respectful, and loving to all. He believes God’s Word is timeless and unchanging. He also supports new migrants in the church, offering help with immigration and serving as a church buddy.
He holds a Master’s degree and has lived in Finland for over 10 years.

Mr. Daniel

Church Deacon

Biography

Mr. Daniel has been an active member of ToP Church since 2020 alongside his wife, Francisca. Together with their two children, they are devoted to sharing the gospel and helping the men’s and women’s ministries grow.

Daniel is a passionate prayer warrior with a heart for soul winning, which led to his appointment to the evangelism committee.

He is also part of the church leadership team and actively contributes to Saturday prayer meetings. Friendly and welcoming, Daniel and Francisca open their home to others and prioritize raising children in faith, supporting Bible donations to the children’s ministry.

Mr. Benard

Church Deacon

Biography

Bernard joined ToP Church in 2020 after moving from overseas to be with his wife, Deborah. He loves the church community and values its active service and strong passion for soul winning. A dedicated preacher and teacher with over 13 years of church leadership,

Bernard has served since 2021 as church secretary, media team lead, and youth ministry patron. He holds a master’s in Regional Development Studies and a degree in Information Technology from Helsinki Business College. Since 2021, he has worked as a Cybersecurity Consultant at Epical Finland Oy.

Bernard and Deborah have been married since 2018 and have three children.

Mrs. Mercy

Church Deaconess

Biography

Deaconess Mercy has been with ToP Church since its founding in Finland in 2016. She faithfully led the women’s ministry from 2016 to 2024 and now serves as its patron. A passionate singer, she has been part of the church choir for years.

Her hospitality has supported students and new members alike. Married for over 20 years, she is a proud mother of four. Mercy enjoys cooking, studying the Bible, and hosting guests.

Her leadership helped grow the women’s fellowship from just 6 members to nearly 30, reflecting her dedication to ministry and love for the church community.

Bylaws of Top International Ministries |

Article I: Name and Purpose

Name:
The name of this organization shall be Top ministries international-Finland (Top Church) hereafter referred to as “the Church.”


Purpose: The purpose of the Church is to worship God, preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and make disciples through prayer, teaching, and fellowship. The Church shall operate in accordance with the principles of Pentecostal doctrine.

Eligibility for Membership: Any person who has confessed Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and believes in the teachings of the Pentecostal faith may apply for membership. Applicants must attend a membership class and meet with the leadership before becoming a member.

Rights and Responsibilities: Members have the right to participate in all services, vote in congregational meetings, and serve in various ministries. Members are expected to support the church financially, maintain personal holiness, and participate in regular worship and prayer.

Termination of Membership: Membership may be terminated by voluntary resignation or if the member’s conduct is inconsistent with the principles of the Church, after a meeting with church leadership.

Leadership Structure: The Church shall be governed by a board consisting of:

Senior Pastor: Responsible for the overall spiritual leadership and direction of the Church.

Elders: The Elders shall assist the Senior Pastor in decision-making and oversight of the congregation.

Deacons: Deacons shall serve in practical areas such as organizing events, assisting with service needs, and outreach.

Election of Leadership: The Senior Pastor shall be appointed by a vote of the congregation. Elders and Deacons shall be appointment.

Sunday Services: The Church shall hold regular worship services every Sunday with prayer, praise, worship, and preaching.

Special Services: The Church may hold special services for prayer, fasting, outreach, and events during holidays or special occasions.

Sacraments:

Baptism: Baptism shall be conducted for all believers who profess their faith in Jesus Christ.

Holy Communion: Communion will be celebrated monthly, remembering the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Tithes and Offerings: The Church shall operate by faith through the giving of tithes and offerings by its members. All tithes shall be 10% of a member’s income and are to be used for the operations, outreach, and ministries of the Church.

Budgeting and Spending: An annual budget shall be prepared by the Church Treasurer and approved by the leadership board. No expenditures shall exceed the approved budget without prior consent from the leadership.

Financial Oversight: The Church’s finances shall be reviewed annually by an independent auditor to ensure transparency and accountability.

Congregational Meetings: The Church shall hold an annual meeting to discuss the state of the ministry, finances, and future goals. Special meetings may be called as necessary by the Senior Pastor or leadership board.

Voting: Voting shall be done by active, baptized members of the Church. For major decisions such as the election of leaders or changes to the bylaws, a quorum of 51% of the members must be present.

Amending the Bylaws: These bylaws may be amended by a two-thirds majority vote of the active members present at a congregational meeting. Any proposed amendments must be submitted in writing to the leadership at least two weeks prior to the meeting.
